  18. When you print from Cardfile using the Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet 4
  19. or HP LaserJet 4Si PCL drivers, a double line is printed between the
  20. index lines and the body of the card. The lower of the two lines is
  21. printed through any text on the first line of the body of the card.

  26. The HP LaserJet 4 Si/Si MX PS, HP LaserJet II, and HP LaserJet III
  27. drivers do not exhibit this problem.

  29. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem with Windows NT version
  30. 3.1 and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. We are researching
  31. this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft
  32. Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

  37. Steps to Reproduce Problem
  38. --------------------------

  40. 1. Install the HP LaserJet 4 or HP LaserJet 4Si PCL driver.
  41.  
  42. 2. Run Cardfile in Card view (default) and type some text on the index
  43.    line and also on the first line of the body.
  44.  
  45. 3. From the File menu, choose Print. 
  46.  
  47. The card will print correctly, with the exception of a double line
  48. instead of a single line between the index line and the card body.
  49.  
  50. NOTE: There is a double line in the card on the screen, but only a
  51. single line should be printed.
